So I've gone from 20k to 12k of personal debt in the last 4 years. I think I'm doing very well. Got two CC's at 0% about to run out. I don't see a new card giving me a £12000 limit, but I really don't want to start paying interest on the debt now when I've been doing so well. I thought, since credit updates are monthly, if I apply for two cards am I likely to get both? I'm pretty confident I'll get one (as I got the two I currently have, and have been paying them like a saint for the last few years) but if I do two applications on the same day will it be crosschecked at some point; will it then lead to them getting declined? I feel like this is the last hurdle to getting my debt sorted and gone and getting on to some proper investing, but don't want to mess up now. I'm not bothered about two searched on my credit history, as this is the last time for the forseeable I'll need to apply for any credit, just bothered about if they'll get turned down if I apply for two cards at once.
