Hello!
In Dec 2015, I received a credit card in the mail from BOA. I initially thought it was a replacement for the only cc I had with them and just shoved it into my desk drawer. I do not activate new cards until I need them typically.
Lo and behold, in Sept 2017, I got a letter from BOA stating that if I did not use the card in a few weeks it would be deactivated. My BOA card is my oldest line of credit and I didn’t want to lose it. So, I went into my desk and saw that not only did the cards have different numbers, but my original card hadnt even expired yet.
I live outside of a BOA area and during at least one lunch break each week I have been the ball in BOA’s operators’ phone tennis between credit card services and fraud.
I am home for xmas and will stop by a BOA branch this afternoon. Is there anything I should know going in or specific questions I should ask? It smells like the Wells Fargo situation to me, and I do not like being toyed with.
Thank you.
