A year ago at this time, I made this post. Just wanted to give you guys an update and say thanks!!
In accordance with most of you guys' advice, I decided to decline Brown's offer of admission. When regular decision applications came out later in April, somehow I got lucky enough to be accepted into Yale. Yale offered me a much better financial aid package (I pay $10k a year now!); it's actually cheaper than the state school I was going to go to. Thanks for all your advice!
