Essentially Im looking for the Grizzly Adams of blankets in cotton form. Growing up my family used to have some thick cotton blankets. Like 1"+ thick 100% cotton blankets that were heavier than the person dragging them around. They burned up after the neighbors field fire took our house and Ive been looking for a long time to replace them.
Im looking for something like that. A blanket that is insanely durable, thick, warm and large (queen-king).
Ive looked through all of google, amazon, specialty online stores and everything local from thrift to high-end and haven't found anything even close. The best I have found is 3/16-.5" lightweight crap that looks luxury, but doesn't seem like it to me.
My budget is large enough to accommodate a higher price range as this blanket should last for life if it exists out there these days.
If anyone can even point me in a direction that would be great. Thanks in advance for any help!
