For Christmas our parents want to get us a new sink. Currently the sink is 33" x 19" and the new sink would be 33 x 22. I am not concerned with the depth, I am concerned with the depth. My counter is only 24 inches deep. Would I be compromising too much of the structure of the counter to cut the hole 3 inches larger? I have tried looking this up online to no avail.
