I am only looking to build it maybe a couple feet high as he is only 15 months old. He can’t stop climbing things so I wanted to build one for him to get his fix but with mats below it. I saw rock climbing footholds online that come in packages from REI and thought I could screw a few 2x4s parallel adjacent to the studs and then a sheet of plywood to the 2x4s. Then attach some footholds. I don’t know if screwing each foothold to the wall would be safe enough for the drywall.Any suggestions for a semi tool-less mom to make this safe and without sharp dangerous edges? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2n3KYOD
