Next year, when I received my next raise, I'm going to be looking to get the gear that will last me the rest of my career. I drive a different truck every day, so I already have this wonderful backpack:
Paratus 3 Day Operator's Pack http://ift.tt/2ymIGhx
I recommend it very highly. I've used it every day for three and a half years, and it still looks brand new.
Now I'm looking to fill that pack with some quality gear. Here are some items I need, and specs where appropriate.
Boots: durable, comfortable, and extremely slip-resistant. I walk on fuel Islands frequently, and diesel is rather slippery.
Gloves: something thinner so I can feel what I'm doing, but durable against grease, fuel and wear.
Flashlight: either a pocket penlight with a clip, or a headlamp.
Hammer: durable and heavy, for tire testing.
And anything else you guys can think of that would help me out. I have read all over this sub, and haven't seen anything specific to my profession.
Thanks in advance.
