Hi r/frugal. I know this sounds crazy. It's totally crazy. And I finally told my husband that we couldn't afford this anymore, and his response was that "sometimes for a family of three that's what it's going to cost!" Some background on how we got here:

We have been married for 2 years and have a toddler. All three of us eat different things, but I try and eat the same things as she does whenever possible. The only toddler foods she gets are a box of snack bars for the week and 10 organic fruit pouches. Other than that I try to meal prep and freeze a lot of her/our food and/or make things with frozen veggies. My husband will not eat what we eat. He's "picky" and will only eat spaghetti, ramen, chicken nuggets, French fries, pizza rolls, etc. He also eats lots of chips and fruit snacks, things to that nature. Which are all fairly expensive. On top of this, he gets himself fast food at least every other day if not every day.

I love to cook and I love good food. Sometimes he will eat what I make, but not always. I'm trying to find a way to bring this cost down to maybe 150 every two weeks. Lower would of course be ideal but I'm not looking for a miracle yet. He won't change his eating habits (outright refuses) and I do all of the shopping for the house for the most part.

Any advice/idea/tips? I hope I provided enough clarification but if not please let me know. Thank you!
