I looked up the steps/products required to restore an old desk to former glory. Here is my plan of action: * strip with sprayed agent * clean with mineral spirits * three sanding steps * clean with tack cloth * apply stain with sponge brush, multiple coats, wiping excess * apply poly 2-3 times, light sanding after each one, letting cure for a week * one last pass with 0000 steel wool and pastePlease tell me if this approach is flawed, as this will be my first time.
