Newbie question... sorry I don't have the patience to wait for Moronic Monday. Google wasn't being very helpful. All I could find were articles telling why they have the cash.

The reason I ask: Is this cash being dwindled because of inflation? Or is it increasing in value when companies "sit" on cash?
