I just got my Muji cutlery - large table spoon, teaspoon, table knife and table fork.

You buy them as individual pieces so they don't come as a set.

The quality is outstanding. They are simple, elegant, like mini minimalist works of art. The weights is just right. Not flimsy, but not heavy. sI don't know the 18/0 or 18/10 thing, but I am certain they will last.s The grade is 18/8.

If you're like me, you do not like the following:

  • Cheap/poor quality cutlery feels weird to hold and have in your mouth. At first you don't notice it because you're focusing on your food, but over time I came to dislike my set.

  • But you also don't like ostentatious flatware. If you live among corgis in a palace then fine, you deserve the grandest knives and forks the realm has to offer.

If you're in Ireland like myself you'll need to telephone in an order to their local Dublin shop. For other countries they have them available at their MUJI shop online.

There are two types of cultery they offer: a budget knife/fork/spoon offering that looks like this:

And then their upgrade which looks like this:

It sounds crazy, but their teaspoons actually brighten my day, they're really cool, it's hard to explain until you play with them, they're like the ideal archetype of a teaspoon :-)

Bonus: in comparison to other cutlery sets I've seen on BIFY, these are affordable for most people.
