I have a corner fireplace that is at a 45 degree angle with a 2' x 4' tiled area in front of it. Currently the room is carpeted but I'm going to put some laminate down. I think I'd like to keep the tiled area in front but it will be a pain to cut the laminate pieces all the way around that area. Any suggestions ? Just bite the bullet and pop up the tiles and put in a a metal strip after the laminate is laid? Here is a rough drawing of the area: http://ift.tt/2xIF4qj . The rest of the room is just boring square corners :) . Looking for ideas if you've encountered a similar situation. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2kcCmDI
