I bought a home built in the 1960s. The central heating doens't work and being in Socal, we really don't have use for it anyways. This furnace is located in a closet in the hallway. My plan is to remove the furnace and turn it into extra storage/closet. I plan to cap the gas line first. I think I can remove the duct work and close those off pretty easily. After that, I'm thinking of removing 1 screw at a time and recycling anything that is removed. Any advice is welcome. Please help. Link - http://ift.tt/2xW6Q1y via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2xRfHA9
