Complete beginner, looking to build a bespoke bed base due to the weird size of the room. It sounds very simple in theory, but is it in practice?I basically just want something to put a mattress on for use as a day bed that fits flush between two walls next to the window.I'd like a walnut finish, but not sure if I'd use something as expensive as walnut.
