Hi I recently primered my entire truck after sanding the truck with sandpaper and a metal wheel. I coated it with Rustoleum 2x primer. I intend on painting the truck this winter. I am wondering however if the primer is porous and allowing for moisture to seep through and attack the metal underneath.I have read two conflicting answers to if the primer is porous:1) Yes, it is porous, which means there is water getting to the metal2) No, the "cheap" primers are typically just grey paint with a "flattening agent" which means it should be fine.Is there any way to know for sure if the primer I put on is protective enough for a couple months? Or is it heavily porous? Thanks everyone. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2gnoHsw
