So im re-doing a dining room table. Using 3 coats of poly for a natural finish on the wood. Is there another step after that? Wax or anything that I should be doing ? Or is 3 coats of poly all i should be doing via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2ymkKsv

I was just given a little over 4K in back pay after a new union contract was negotiated. I just bought a home in February and had a baby in May. Daycare just begun so I'm definitely on a budget, but would like to invest this 4K in something a bit more high risk/ high reward. Thoughts?
I refurbished a mid-century table set. It was my first refurbishing project.
