I'm making a boombox with a laser light show projector in it, and I was wondering if there's a way to make it so that the speakers can run off of either a cord or batteries. They're a pair of M-Audio AV30s. There's a transformer thingy in them, which I assume is converting the current from ac to dc, which says "input 110v/60hz, output 14v*2/0.8a. There is a red and black wire going into the transformer thingy and 2 red wires and a black wire coming out.
