I repurposed the Racor PHL-1R (storage rack pulley system) to lift up a bed in a van that i'm building out. Here is what it looks like lifted upRight now I use a drill to raise and lower the bed. I would like to attach a dc motor to the frame and wire it to a switch instead of using a drill. The issue is that I can't figure out what motor to buy. When I search most of what I find are servos or motors for small robots. The drill that i'm using puts out 350 in./lbs and most of the smaller motors are nowhere near that. That being said I really don't know how much torque I need but I do know that much will raise it.Maybe I'm reading / converting the listed torque wrong on the motors?
