For underwear, I like to wear boxer-briefs that are made in the compression short style, like this. They breathe nicely, they don't ride up uncomfortably, and are form fitting in a comfortable way.
However, these underwear seem to wear out very quickly, perhaps because they are tight and the stretching from movement causes holes to quickly form. I like the synthetic material better than cotton or something like that because it does better with heat/sweat. I don't like compression shorts for underwear just because they are too long. I also like these. They don't get holes, but the elastic in the waistband tends to stretch and become loose and saggy.
Does anyone know of some underwear brands that are this same style and will last me a long time? I would also be okay wearing compression shorts or spandex (maybe? I guess I am not sure how this material would actually feel as underwear) as long as they are quite short.
