I have an older (10-15 year old) North Face jacket that's developed a few problems over the years and am considering sending it in to North Face to be repaired. Has anyone done this before? I haven't so I'm not sure all what they cover under their warranty. I know they'll fix whatever issues there is with the jacket for a reasonable fee but with having to pay shipping both ways already it may just be better to leave the jacket as is and save that money to put towards a new jacket. Here's a list of the issues with the jacket.

  • zipper is ripping some at the bottom

  • snow skirt is missing a button

  • snow skirt is peeling off some sort of coating.

  • stitches have some out in the hood

I plan to call and ask them directly but was wondering if anyone here had any experience sending in gear for warranty repairs
