Hi, I DJ with Serato and that means I need to plug my DJ controller into my laptop as a MIDI device which controls Serato via MIDI.I was wondering if it was possible to make some kind of box with some circuitry in it that allowed it to function as a kind of Serato box; basically run Serato/other MIDI software like a computer can while plugged into the controller.Like the laptop but without the screen or keyboard or any other software or anything, just a boxed-up circuit that runs Serato and can be controlled by the controller. Which is able to browse USB drives for audio files too.I'm a complete computer building noob, but I think this might be possible... like just taking a laptop and removing everything that isn't required to run Serato and read USB drives.
