I currently have a 4ft high chain link fence. The posts are metal poles, 2 3/8", and are 2ft in the ground with concrete. Due to neighbors sharing a fence I can't take down the existing fencing.I want to do a wooden privacy fence so my dogs stop fighting with the neighbors dogs, and so they stop jumping the fence(damn heelers are athletic!)So my question is, can I put up a 6ft tall privacy fence using the existing posts, or will the weight/height, be too much for the existing poles? I've seen plenty of fences where the top 2x4 is higher than the fence posts, but 2ft seems a bit much. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2f3oMwY
