Howdy,Curious as to how y'all would go about insulating a shed ceiling knowing that it will be drywalled as well.At first I was thinking of putting fiber glass insulation just behind the drywall that will be hanging directly from the ceiling joists, but now I am concerned that if I put enough 2x4 blocks between those joists to hold the drywall up properly that I will worsen the insulation R value. Some alternatives I thought of would be to make a grid of furring strips that hang below the joists that the drywall will attach to with the insulation just above, OR maybe I could just attach the insulation to the roof rafters and use a bunch of blocks between the joists to attach the drywall directly to. If any of that makes sense, I would love to know your thoughts. Thanks!photo: https://ift.tt/35muaoP via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3jkMeEE
