I have been thinking about buying one of those ice cream makers with a freezer bowl, but wasn't ready to fork over $40 yet. My heart skipped a beat when I saw one for $6 at Goodwill!
Took it home, prepared some dark chocolate ice cream mix while I froze the bowl, as per instructions. Pulled bowl out of the freezer - whats this frozen liquid in here? Yeah, there is a leak in the bowl. So now I have ice cream stuff, but no way of preparing it. www.sadtrombone.com
PS: To the people who donated a defective appliance to Goodwill, F you! (Hopefully they did not know, but everything makes me believe that the store was unaware of this defect.)
Edit 1: Replacement bowl from manufacturer has been discontinued.
