I've spent a fair amount of time cludging together an Excel workbook for financial planning purposes, but I figure there are probably apps out there that have more features and are robust. Happy to pay for features and quality (not extortionate amounts, so ~ <$100).
Couldn't find something like this in any FAQs, so please point me to anything I've missed if it will save effort!
Features I'm looking for include:
Core: * Predict net worth growth given income, current balance, average expenses and an interest rate * Predict gains from a range of performance outcomes for investment types * Adjust model based on housing price changes from a range of % year-on-year changes * Adjust model based on mortgage rate range * Adjust model based on predicted cost of having children (or ability to enter average expected costs) * Handle dual income family * Support for Australian tax regime * Automated importing of transactions from a range of (Australian) banks
Nice to have: * Automated importing/syncing stock market performance * Automated importing/syncing superannuation (Australian 401k equivalent) performance * Automated import tax rates, interest rates, etc
