This is only a random thought, but I'd appreciate if someone can shed some light on this regard.
Vanguard and Blackrock control 6.56 and 6.01% of AAPL through ETFs/Mutual Funds. I presume they can exert a good degree of influence over Tim Cook and draft proposals for meetings. But what about Berkshire, controlling only 2.50%? Or the Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, with a measly 1.02%?
