My wife and I just traded her car in that we owed $10,000 on for a car that we now only owe $8,000 on. Not a huge savings but sure feels good to be that much closer to paying it off. The salesman was pretty surprised that our goal was lower debt. She loves her new car especially since it has manual transmission. She has been wanting that for a long time.
