I never realized this was a thing until this year, but apparently lots of places will give food during your birthday month. My work cave me a coupon for a free medium pizza, Slim Pickens gave me a coupon for a free chicken basket (no clue how they got my address or birthday), and apparently Firehouse subs gives a free sub on the day itself (or so I've heard).
Anyone else know of any places that do this sort of thing? It's really helped me cut down on my food spending this last week.
Anyway, I hope this doesn't break rule 2 in the sidebar. I'm not trying to promote these businesses, but free/discounted food is always welcome!
