There's no shutoff switch for the water to the shower specifically, so I'd have to turn the whole house water off, which I think I need special tools for and I'd like to avoid.The shower handle slips as if something's stripped when I turn it, it's a Moen lever type handle, and I can take it off and see a plastic piece with some splines underneath, but anything beyond that I'd need to turn off the water.
