My landlord is very lazy and likes to keep my checks for months at a time, making budgeting awkward as I have to be ready to have months of rent drained from my account at a time. Is there a way for me to write in a "cash by" date on the check and how likely will the bank be to honor that if I can? I found alot online about post-dating checks, but nothing on this so help would be most appreciated. Thank you!
