Good evening,

I recently posted and asked about a good pair of WWII style combat boots.

I'm now trying to decided on which sole to get on my custom William Lennon 78TC's.

Most folk go for the Vibram commando, but I'm interested in the Itshide version. I think they're probably harder wearing (84-87 Shore A), and I'm willing to sacrifice grip in the winter to get a sole that will last longer, as wear down the heels of my boots quickly.

Does anyone have any experience with the Itshide Commando? I'd like something similar to the Canadian Army MKIII soles, or perhaps (if I recall correctly), the old Shelly's Rangers.

TIA,

-F
