Hello, i'm 27 years old and I have a (very) small nest-egg saved up with all the money I don't spend monthly.

But every so slowly the banks are pushing the interest on savings down to 0%, and there are other European Banks that are going negative to 'spur on spending'. So i'm more than afraid that it's a matter of time before my money i'm trying to save up is going to vanish without me spending any of it.

What's the best course of action? I have thought about investing some of it, but right now I have zero knowledge of how to make prudent portfolios that won't end in disaster. I'm prepared to learn, but I don't know what the best sources are to learn about such things.

How can I best proceed?
