I have a small under stairs cupboard which is of little use to me in the current arrangement and makes the ground floor of the house feel small and a bit enclosed at times.I want to remove the wall under the stairs and cupboard with it so that I can use the exposed area to house a proper fridge/freezer or a dining table and chairs as the dining table is of little use where it currently is.I have removed the plasterboard inside to cupboard to expose the stud work. However I can't tell if this wall is supporting my stairs?Does anyone here have any knowledge in this area?
