I am preparing to paint my livingroom and small bedroom, but I can't figure out what our best option would be regarding preparing the walls. We live in an apartment which has all concrete walls. They don't seem to be perfectly level, with some dips here a d there, so we want to make them flat.I plastering them seems like the easiest option, but we would need to wait a month before we can paint (or so I have read). My wife doesn't want to shrink the room, so if I were to do drywall, we would need to attach it directly to the concrete. I don't know of this would be a problem. We are on the second floor of our building, so I don't believe we would have the same issue with moisture as we would if we were in a basement.Does anyone have ideas what I could do? Ideally we want to prepare the walls in 1 weekend, and pain the next. Though im not entirely sure how likely this is.I was told by a friend to use sheetrock mud. But reading online, I'm not so sure it's a good option. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2fP5sY1
