My boyfriend loves to work with his hands and for his upcoming birthday I am hoping to get him something that he can build himself. As an example of something along the lines of what I'm thinking of, he recently built himself a Portable Raspberry Pi 3. It does not have to be technology related, but I would prefer it to have some sort of actual use (other than just decoration). I have tried using google to find some things but was unable to find anything I thought would really fit for him, so I decided to turn to this subreddit in a last ditch attempt.
