(CAN) So I've obtained a very old bond which I am told could contain a lot of money today, but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Hi Reddit,

I've recently come into a very old bond that is believed to have been initially sold by JP Morgan back in the WW2 era and I've been told it could either be worth a lot of money or 0. Apparantly JP won't give up the actual value of the bond so I am reaching out to you guys for suggestions on how I should handle this paper. Are there any resources I can use to investigate just what this thing may be worth and what I could do with it?
