My brother recently started working for Primerica after graduating with a double major in accounting and finance. He's "helping people get their finances back on track" as a financial adviser and will get paid if someone opens an account with him. He also mentioned that it's worth his time since he is learning a lot and they are paying for a couple of his licenses (life license and a few others? We are in Minnesota)
Everything I read about Primerica says scam or MLM. I've been trying to convey this to him but he just keeps defending it (just as he defends his girlfriend who sells herbalife). Is there any information I can give him about this company (facts, numbers, a documentary) that will give him some more insight than just me trying to explain it?
I don't know much about his job market but what kind of jobs would someone with an accounting and finance degree be qualified for? I think I'm going to start just applying him to jobs so he can see all the better options out there.
Thanks for reading, any advice is appreciated.
TL;DR Brother works for Primerica 40hrs/week for FREE. I need him to open his eyes to their crap.
