So it's an odd situation. Boyfriend started a job a handful of months ago and he was given a work credit card to buy food with a per diem. Because he was new he was having trouble submitting the receipts for reimbursement and it turns out they hadn't fully put him in the system. He only found out after his luggage with 2.5 months of receipts in it was stolen. Without those receipts he's liable for a couple of grand of debt of the work credit card. From emails and tones from his boss he feels that he may be fired for this debt. Any suggestions on how to go about this? He's got a very aggressive plan to pay it off in two months but we don't know if his boss is going to go for it. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!!
