Arkema is French-listed (AKE:FP). The facility in Crosby produces peroxides and has been unable to properly cool materials, which they state has a real risk of causing a large fiery explosion. Personnel were evacuated by company, while surrounding community was evac'd by gov't (area of evac not given). They've set up a claims center, presumably to deal with liabilities surrounding evacuation and potentially for claims if a major explosion occurs.

I'm fascinated by this story because the stock price seems largely unaffected. Possibility for this was announced on 29th, and trading on 30th, the stock is up nearly 2%. I absolutely don't mean to suggest shorting a stock on the possibility a facility explodes and devastates family - would be ghoulish - but interested in why traders are writing the risk off. US OTC trades also show lack of care about this news.
