Previous years we were so over our heads that we couldn't really buy anyone Christmas presents. This year things have turned around tremendously with better budgeting and learning how to be frugal.
I don't have a large family or many friends, but they've always given us gifts well beyond our means of reciprocating even now. This year we want to participate in presents. We can save and afford to, but my new frugal mindset isn't really compatible with traditional gift giving. I don't want to buy things that people won't use and I also don't want to do money or gift cards.
What are your Christmas plans?
