Hey guys i'm working on vacuum forming some automotive pieces (fender flares), but i keep running into the same problem and that is that i cant heat it up enough. I am using .118in Thick ABS plastic so i know so i know its a bit thicker then what most people use when forming. I've tried using multiple space heaters individually and at the same time. I've even made an aluminum foil funnel to direct the heat, but other than being a little warm nothing happens. I bought a new heat gun that heats up to 1500 Fahrenheit and it would make the plastic oddly pop up and down but because the piece is large (5ft x 2ft) the heat gun isn't very effective. Anyone have a solution? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2tO1yDo
