I F(26) have been with him for 16 months. When we got together, he was living with his sister, but was dishonest about the reasoning. The real reason is that he is under employed, working 24-30 hours per week for $8.17 an hour so he can't afford his own place.
I work 40-50 hours weekly at $11 an hour. Our rent is $639 a month. Other bills of mine total around $500. Phone for my phone and my dad's phone, student loans, water, internet, electric, Netflix, and a few other small bills. Not including gas or grocerys. My car is paid off, and my dad is currently paying the insurance.
To break the lease it is 3 or 4 times the monthly rent. There is no way I can think of to save up $1,300 for my part of breaking the lease. I also don't think he will be able to pay his half.
Another problem is that he is on my phone bill. I have sprint.
I hate to leave him with nothing, but I can't deal with his behavior any more. He says he is looking for a job, but he has said that for the 16 months we have been together.
I live in Oklahoma if that helps. Do I break the lease or just stay with him and be unhappy until March when the lease is up? What do I do about the phone plan?
