One of the crafts I make involve spray painting small plastic pieces for a jewelry line, and I can't for the life of me figure out why I have this problem with spray paints...I've bought so many different cans from so many different brands, and here's what I've found: I can only get a perfectly dry and smooth finish with Krylon's Short Cuts spray paints. Every other big can of paint dries to a tacky and sticky finish, no matter how long I shake the can, what room or temperature I dry the item, etc. On the same note, Short Cuts always dry smooth regardless of where they dry.So I need some help if I want to expand my colors from just this brand. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong with the bigger cans of spray paint, but I'm sure they aren't supposed to give a tacky finish consistently like they do. What am I doing wrong, and why on earth do the shorter cans work perfectly when the bigger cans don't? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2tf0ciZ
