Hello frugal friends. I'm a big fan of vinegar for its many uses - cooking and preserving food, as well as cleaning, disinfecting and as a repellent for flies (I do a bit of indoor gardening and microgreen growing, and red wine vinegar is great for keeping flies away). For some time now I've been using a mixture of white vinegar and lemon juice instead of cleaning sprays, on the understanding that this was a good, frugal thing to do. I've just come across this article though, and now I'm having my doubts:
Who here uses vinegar for cleaning/disinfecting? It's very cheap and it seems to me should have some role to play in the frugal life. Do you find it useful? Do you combine it with other things for cleaning? Looking for tips. Cheers!
