I'm looking for durable new bedding - basically looking for recommendations for all components. Hoping to not spend more than $500 when all is said and done and I'm looking for sheets, pillows, pillowcases, a new duvet insert and a duvet cover.
Notes about me:
1) I tend to like the thick cotton feel with a little bit of heft. We both love hotel bedding when we stay somewhere 4 star.
2) Looking for components that could work year round. In the winter, I could just add an additional blanket or two.
3) We're new parents so it would be preferable not to buy something that, looking ahead a few years, our kid couldn't completely ruin with sticky fingers. So either darker colors or easy to bleach would be ideal.
4) We've had a bad run of duvet covers where the zippers or buttons broke. So we're looking not only for high quality fabric but also construction.
I'm guessing we would want cotton or linen for the textiles, but I would love specific product recommendations. Super high bonus points for anything on Amazon Prime that you have direct experience with!
