In a sudden move towards frugality, I decided to ditch my Gillette razor and get a Dorco PACE6 PLUS razor/blades. Didn't do all the math but easily a 50+% saving.
Terrible shaving experience. Felt like I'm using a 2-mo old razor. Tried another razor just in case the first one was a manufacturing defect. Nope, same result. Dorco says I can't return the razors if I didn't like them - that's not in their return policy.
I'm sticking with Gillette, there's absolutely no way I can live with this really bad shaving experience. Any other such examples where frugality absolutely doesn't work?
