So I wandered into a brick and mortar JCF store, and saw the sign "Thompson Suits 50% off". Underneath were a bunch of jackets. With the code G1730. This jacket is NOT the one we're all familiar with, 47226. In fact, the G1730 doesn't even show up on the website under suits. Anyone browsing the website can't find it. I found it by googling the style code that was on the jacket in store.
Anywho, the manager gave me the jacket 50% off since in store, G1730 is allegedly 50% off. YMMV of course, but considering that in store, no voyager jackets were there (the ones I originally presumed were the ones 50% off), and that below the sign were the G1730 jackets, I imagine this might be the case at every store.
And I used my student discount on top --> $114 for the jacket
I chatted with someone on the website and they said: "They're virtually the same, but G1730 will be a little slimmer in the chest. 47226 is an update of an older style while G1730 is a new one."
