My wife and I had a baby six months ago. We thought my wife's insurance that she has through her emplyer was going to cover everything or at least most of the bill. However, they are saying they won't cover any of it because we waited too long to add my son to the insurance plan. They are saying we had to do it within the first month for him to be covered but we ended up waiting about two months. Now we can't even get our son on the insurance plan until open enrollment which is not until next December. What are our options her? Its well over a $20,000 bill and I'm freaking out.
