Some background: I am a military scholarship recipient for Medical School. Part of my contract includes reimbursal for laptop rentals for all four years. Three companies (that I could find) are designed specifically to rent new laptops to military students. Also, I have been a desktop only student for all my years of college.
Some questions I have:
- Would it be worth going from PC to MAC when I've only ever done PC?
- What should I consider when choosing between brands?
- Since I am major desktop user, which laptop appeals to this?
Reddit isn't a personal Army, I don't expect anyone to scour through each laptop offered to find me the best deal (although if someone did, I wouldn't be mad).
Also, if there is a subreddit designed for this sort of computer question, would someone direct me?
