I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I'm desperate to move as soon as possible from my hometown of 27 years - good ol' Austin, TX. It's gotten so expensive here, and way too crowded for my liking. I am considering the following places, but open to more of course:
Fayetteville, AR Louisville, KY Greenville, SC Boise, ID Des Moines, Iowa
I will most likely work in customer service in some form while I finish nursing school in one of these cities. I do have a liberal arts degree (yay!) and have been working in customer service/sales for the past few years.
What's most important to me is the cost of rent (I plan to live alone), and proximity to any body of water, trails, hills and valleys, all that fun stuff. I dig the outdoors. Nightlife, shopping, etc. isn't that big of a deal.
